PHOENIX, AZ — October 18, 2026 — Competitors took to the lanes on Saturday, October 17, at Bowlero Union Hills for the latest edition of the E&BC Saturday Classic Worlds. Featuring multi-squad qualifying and high-intensity match play, the tournament delivered outstanding individual performances, dramatic high-score games, and down-to-the-wire finishes across both the main tournament field and the event Eliminator. Carter Reitz put on a masterclass of consistency and explosive scoring across seven games with a massive 1,882 total pinfall (1,511 Scratch) to top the 40-bowler field. Reitz set the pace in game six with a 278, solidifying his position at the top of the leaderboard. Dave Kist mounted a relentless charge throughout the day with a 1,835 Total (1,422 Scratch), highlighted by steady 240+ games. Rick Darnell rounded out the top three, putting up 1,797 Total (1,517 Scratch) with an impressive run that included games of 263 and 255.

Tournament High Game:Cole Martin flirted with perfection in game five, dropping a staggering 299 game en route to a 7th-place overall finish (1,744 Total). Scratch Leader:Rick Darnell set the pace for raw Scratch pinfall across the entire event, finishing with 1,517 Scratch pins, followed closely by Carter Reitz (1,511 Scratch). Notable High Games:Rob Fehr fired a brilliant 277 in game five (finished 6th overall). David Wester posted a high game of 268. Tommy Hoffman and Rick Darnell each notched strong 263 games. Ron Schloss and Peter Ligouri both logged 258 games.

The Title Match produced a head-to-head battle between the tournament's top two overall finishers.
