When the dust settled across the grueling multi-game block, it was Marcus Haley who rose above the field, putting together a stellar performance to capture his very first career tournament title.
Competition was fierce from the opening frame, with a talented field battling through the tournament blocks. Out of the competitive field, four standout bowlers separated themselves to capture the casher positions: Marcus Haley, Wiley Stewart, Scott Perkins, and Ron Schloss. Looking at the final tournament standings, Marcus Haley led the charge with a commanding total of 1,859 (1,586 scratch), followed closely by Wiley Stewart with 1,748 total pins (1,405 scratch). Scott Perkins put together a powerhouse scratch performance of 1,624 to finish with 1,729 total pins, while Ron Schloss rounded out the top cashers with 1,706 total pins (1,608 scratch).
With the cashers determined for the final eliminator showdown. Marcus Haley advanced to face off against Scott Perkins in a high-stakes final game that lived up to all expectations. In the ultimate head-to-head battle for the title, Marcus delivered under pressure. Rolling a strong 245 game in the final eliminator round (backed by a 206 scratch effort), Marcus edged out Scott, who put up a valiant fight with a 240 game (225 scratch).The victory marks a milestone achievement for Marcus, sealing an unforgettable tournament run and etching his name into the winner's circle as a first-time champion of the Saturday Classic Worlds at Bowlero Union Hills.
